Number 1

Last night I watched Saw. A very interesting movie whose point, it seems, is to convince people that life is worth living. After sleeping on it, and thinking about it a little bit I have come to an interesting conclusion. The character of the producer of that movie is not far from the character of the killer in that movie. They both are trying to convince people to live a "better" life via scare-tactics.
The killer in the movie utilizes a barbed wire maze which goes not only right and left, but up and down as well. He also utilizes an inverse bear-trap for some rather gruesome dental work.
The producer utilizes these methods (in the fact that he created them) and one other method. A sort of gruesome anticipation.
We anticipated each new scene. We anticipated the end, as soon as we saw the face of the Killer. Even if we chose the wrong face to begin with. We anticipated the way he would kill Adam, and the doctor. We anticipated everything. But, come to think of it, the Killer did the same thing. He made each of his victims anticipate a life free of that prison, and free of their own mental prison. And he also made them anticipate what their horrible death might entail.
Basically, I think the movie had one theme: joie de vivre. The joy of living. It is a good thing to have. I have found that life can be as lonely, boring, dull, and annoying as anything, but if you are happy to be alive you can be entertained anywhere. You can make any situation worth being in. It's a little bit of Zen: live each moment just for the sake of the moment. Don't live with the future in mind, don't live worrying about the past. These things will come, and have come. And there's nothing really can be done about them right now.
Well, technicaly, you can do stuff about the future. In a way of looking at it. But if you live each moment just for the moment, the future will come around in its own moment.

As for me and myself, I'm happy with life. I love each morning, and I love to go home from work. I love walking to and from work, I love sitting around my room playing video games. I love thinking and hoping for the future.

Just some rants for the moment. Might add to it later...
